Cauda equina syndrome due to prostate metastases

Patient Data

Gender: Male

MRI demonstrates localized sacral metastases obliterating the spinal canal and compressing the lower spinal roots.

Widespread sclerotic metastases involving the entire pelvis and proximal femora. Brachytherapy of the prostate noted. 

Case Discussion

Patient with known metastatic prostate cancer developed cauda equina syndrome.
