Case Discussion

Smoothly marginated mass with homogeneous hyperintense signal on both T1- and T2-weighted images, typical of a spinal intramedullary lipoma. The lesion belongs to a broader spectrum of fat-containing developmental lesions of the spine. Large lesions may become symptomatic.
