Central neurocytoma

Discussion:

CT and MRI demonstrate a large mass in the body of the left lateral ventricle, displacing the septum pellucidum and obstructing the outflow of the ventricles, with resultant obstructive hydrocephalus

The mass is heterogenous in density and signal, with patchy enhancement.

The mass was excised and pathologically proven to be a central neurocytoma.
